³¹ They come to you as people come, and sit before you as My people and hear your words, but they do not do them, for they do the lustful desires expressed by their ^(A)mouth, and their heart goes after their ^(B)gain.

²¹ For from within, out of the heart of men, proceed the evil thoughts, ^[a]fornications, thefts, murders, adulteries, ²² deeds of coveting and wickedness, as well as deceit, sensuality, ^[b](A)envy, slander, ^[c]pride and foolishness.

¹⁵ Then He said to them, “^(A)Beware, and be on your guard against every form of greed; for not even when one has an abundance does his life consist of his possessions.”

⁵ Make sure that your character is ^(A)free from the love of money, ^(B)being content with what you have; for He Himself has said, “^(C)I will never desert you, nor will I ever forsake you,”
