Ezekiel 35:2-4
Easy-to-Read Version
2 “Son of man,[a] look toward Mount Seir and speak against it for me. 3 Say to it, ‘This is what the Lord God says:
“‘I am against you, Mount Seir!
I will punish you and make you an empty wasteland.
4 I will destroy your cities,
and you will become empty.
Then you will know that I am the Lord.

- Ezekiel 35:2 Son of man This was usually just a way of saying “a person” or “a human being.” Here, it is a way of addressing Ezekiel.

2 “Son of man, set your face against Mount Seir;(A) prophesy against it 3 and say: ‘This is what the Sovereign Lord says: I am against you, Mount Seir, and I will stretch out my hand(B) against you and make you a desolate waste.(C) 4 I will turn your towns into ruins(D) and you will be desolate. Then you will know that I am the Lord.(E)
