4 I will lay your cities waste. You will be devastated. So you will know that I am Adonai.
5 “Because you have a long-standing hatred and have delivered Bnei-Yisrael to the power of the sword in the time of their calamity, in the time of their final punishment, 6 therefore, as I live’—it is a declaration of Adonai—‘I will destine you for blood, and bloodshed will pursue you. Since you did not hate bloodshed, therefore bloodshed will pursue you.

4 I will turn your towns into ruins(A) and you will be desolate. Then you will know that I am the Lord.(B)
5 “‘Because you harbored an ancient hostility and delivered the Israelites over to the sword(C) at the time of their calamity,(D) the time their punishment reached its climax,(E) 6 therefore as surely as I live, declares the Sovereign Lord, I will give you over to bloodshed(F) and it will pursue you.(G) Since you did not hate bloodshed, bloodshed will pursue you.
