Ezekiel 36:18-20
Good News Translation
18 I let them feel the force of my anger because of the murders they had committed in the land and because of the idols by which they had defiled it. 19 I condemned them for the way they lived and acted, and I scattered them through foreign countries. 20 Wherever they went, they brought disgrace on my holy name, because people would say, ‘These are the people of the Lord, but they had to leave his land.’

18 So I poured out(A) my wrath on them because they had shed blood in the land and because they had defiled it with their idols. 19 I dispersed them among the nations, and they were scattered(B) through the countries; I judged them according to their conduct and their actions.(C) 20 And wherever they went among the nations they profaned(D) my holy name, for it was said of them, ‘These are the Lord’s people, and yet they had to leave his land.’(E)
