Ezekiel 36:20-22
New Century Version
20 They dishonored my holy name in the nations where they went. The nations said about them, ‘These are the people of the Lord, but they had to leave the land which he gave them.’ 21 But I had concern for my holy name, which the nation of Israel had dishonored among the nations where they went.
22 “So say to the people of Israel, ‘This is what the Lord God says: Israel, I am going to act, but not for your sake. I will do something to help my holy name, which you have dishonored among the nations where you went.

20 And wherever they went among the nations they profaned(A) my holy name, for it was said of them, ‘These are the Lord’s people, and yet they had to leave his land.’(B) 21 I had concern for my holy name, which the people of Israel profaned among the nations where they had gone.(C)
22 “Therefore say to the Israelites, ‘This is what the Sovereign Lord says: It is not for your sake, people of Israel, that I am going to do these things, but for the sake of my holy name,(D) which you have profaned(E) among the nations where you have gone.(F)
