Ezekiel 36:20-22
New English Translation
20 But when they arrived in the nations where they went, they profaned my holy name. It was said of them, ‘These are the people of the Lord, yet they have departed from his land.’ 21 I was concerned for my holy reputation,[a] which the house of Israel profaned among the nations where they went.
22 “Therefore say to the house of Israel, ‘This is what the Sovereign Lord says: It is not for your sake that I am about to act, O house of Israel, but for the sake of my holy reputation,[b] which you profaned among the nations where you went.

New International Version
20 And wherever they went among the nations they profaned(A) my holy name, for it was said of them, ‘These are the Lord’s people, and yet they had to leave his land.’(B) 21 I had concern for my holy name, which the people of Israel profaned among the nations where they had gone.(C)
22 “Therefore say to the Israelites, ‘This is what the Sovereign Lord says: It is not for your sake, people of Israel, that I am going to do these things, but for the sake of my holy name,(D) which you have profaned(E) among the nations where you have gone.(F)
