33 ‘Thus says the Lord God, “On the day that I cleanse you from all your iniquities, I will cause the (A)cities to be inhabited, and the (B)waste places will be rebuilt. 34 The desolate land will be cultivated instead of being a desolation in the sight of everyone who passes by. 35 They will say, ‘This desolate land has become like the (C)garden of Eden; and the waste, desolate and ruined cities are fortified and inhabited.’

33 “‘This is what the Sovereign Lord says: On the day I cleanse(A) you from all your sins, I will resettle your towns, and the ruins(B) will be rebuilt.(C) 34 The desolate land will be cultivated instead of lying desolate in the sight of all who pass through it. 35 They will say, “This land that was laid waste has become like the garden of Eden;(D) the cities that were lying in ruins, desolate and destroyed, are now fortified and inhabited.(E)”
