^23 (A)They shall not ^(B)defile themselves any more ^(C)with their idols and their detestable things, or with any of their transgressions. But ^(D)I will save them from all the backsliding^[a] in which they have sinned, and will cleanse them; and ^(E)they shall be my people, and I will be their God.

²⁴ And ^(A)I, the Lord, will be their God, and my servant David shall be prince among them. ^(B)I am the Lord; I have spoken.

³⁰ And they shall know that ^(A)I am the Lord their God with them, and that they, the house of Israel, are my people, declares the Lord God.

¹⁶ What agreement has the temple of God with idols? For ^(A)we are the temple of the living God; as God said,

³ And I heard a loud voice from the throne saying, “Behold, ^(A)the dwelling place^[a] of God is with man. He will ^(B)dwell with them, and they will be his people,^[b] and God himself will be with them as their God.^[c]
