²⁶ I will make a covenant of peace with them;^(A) it will be an everlasting covenant^(B) with them. I will establish and multiply them and will set My sanctuary among them forever.

²⁰ In the same way He also took the cup after supper and said, “This cup is the new covenant^(A) established by My blood;^(B) it is shed for you.^[a]

²⁵ In the same way, after supper He also took the cup and said, “This cup is the new covenant^(A) established by My blood.^(B) Do this, as often as you drink it, in remembrance of Me.”

⁶ He has made us competent to be ministers of a new covenant,^(A) not of the letter,^(B) but of the Spirit. For the letter kills, but the Spirit produces life.

¹⁵ Therefore, He is the mediator^(A) of a new covenant,^[a](B) so that those who are called might receive the promise^(C) of the eternal inheritance, because a death has taken place for redemption from the transgressions committed under the first covenant.^(D)

²⁴ to Jesus (mediator^(A) of a new covenant^(B)), and to the sprinkled blood, which says better things than the blood of Abel.^(C)
