4 I will turn you around and put hooks into your jaws, and I will lead you out with all your army, horses and horsemen, all of them clothed in full armor, a great company, all of them with shield and buckler, wielding swords. 5 Persia, Ethiopia,[a] and Put are with them, all of them with buckler and helmet; 6 Gomer and all its troops; Beth-togarmah from the remotest parts of the north with all its troops—many peoples are with you.

4 I will turn you around, put hooks(A) in your jaws and bring you out with your whole army—your horses, your horsemen fully armed, and a great horde with large and small shields, all of them brandishing their swords.(B) 5 Persia, Cush[a](C) and Put(D) will be with them, all with shields and helmets, 6 also Gomer(E) with all its troops, and Beth Togarmah(F) from the far north(G) with all its troops—the many nations with you.
