The Voice
16 (There will be a town called Hamonah there.) This is how the Israelites will purify the land from death’s defilement.
17-18 Then the Eternal Lord told me, “Son of man, I am telling you to send My message to every bird and wild beast”:
Eternal One: Come together, all you creatures of the sky and earth—birds of the air, beasts of the forests and field! From all around, gather around My sacrifice. I am preparing an enormous feast for you atop Israel’s mountains. You will eat the flesh of great men and drink the blood of princes as if they were rams and lambs, goats and bulls—all the finest, meatiest animals in all of lush Bashan!

16 near a town called Hamonah.[a] And so they will cleanse the land.’
17 “Son of man, this is what the Sovereign Lord says: Call out to every kind of bird(A) and all the wild animals: ‘Assemble and come together from all around to the sacrifice I am preparing for you, the great sacrifice on the mountains of Israel. There you will eat flesh and drink blood.(B) 18 You will eat the flesh of mighty men and drink the blood of the princes of the earth as if they were rams and lambs, goats and bulls—all of them fattened animals from Bashan.(C)
