The North Gate

20 As for the (A)gate of the outer court which faced the north, he measured its length and its width. 21 [a]It had three (B)guardrooms on each side; and its (C)side pillars and its porches [b]had the same measurement as the first gate. Its length was [c](D)fifty cubits and the width (E)twenty-five cubits. 22 Its (F)windows and its porches and its palm tree ornaments had the same measurements as the (G)gate which faced toward the east; and [d]it was reached by seven (H)steps, and its [e]porch was in front of them.
