⁶ Then he went to the gate which faced ^(A)east, went up its steps, and measured the threshold of the gate, one rod ^[a]in width; and the other threshold was one rod ^[b]in width.

²⁰ And as for the ^(A)gate of the outer courtyard which faced north, he measured its length and its width.

³⁵ Then he brought me to the ^(A)north gate; and he measured it according to those same measurements,

⁹ But when the people of the land come ^(A)before the Lord at the appointed feasts, one who enters by way of the north gate to worship shall go out by way of the south gate. And one who enters by way of the south gate shall go out by way of the north gate. ^[a]No one shall return by way of the gate by which he entered, but shall go straight out.
