GOD’S WORD Translation
3 This vision was like the one I saw when he came [a] to destroy Jerusalem and like the one I saw by the Chebar River. I immediately bowed down. 4 The Lord’s glory came into the temple through the east gate.
5 The Spirit lifted me and brought me into the inner courtyard. I saw the Lord’s glory fill the temple.

3 The vision I saw was like the vision I had seen when he[a] came to destroy the city and like the visions I had seen by the Kebar River, and I fell facedown. 4 The glory(A) of the Lord entered the temple through the gate facing east.(B) 5 Then the Spirit(C) lifted me up(D) and brought me into the inner court, and the glory(E) of the Lord filled the temple.(F)
