5 the Spirit lifted me up and brought me into the inner open space. And the shining-greatness of the Lord filled the house.
6 While the man was standing beside me, I heard Someone speaking to me from inside the house. 7 And He said to me, “Son of man, this is the place for My throne and for the bottom of My feet, where I will live among the people of Israel forever. No longer will the people of Israel or their kings make My holy name unclean, by worshiping other gods or by the dead bodies of their kings.

5 Then the Spirit(A) lifted me up(B) and brought me into the inner court, and the glory(C) of the Lord filled the temple.(D)
6 While the man was standing beside me, I heard someone speaking to me from inside the temple. 7 He said: “Son of man, this is the place of my throne(E) and the place for the soles of my feet. This is where I will live among the Israelites forever. The people of Israel will never again defile(F) my holy name—neither they nor their kings—by their prostitution and the funeral offerings[a] for their kings at their death.[b](G)
