7 He said to me: “Son of man, this is the place of My throne and the place for the soles of My feet,(A) where I will dwell among the Israelites forever.(B) The house of Israel and their kings will no longer defile My holy name by their religious prostitution and by the corpses[a](C) of their kings at their high places.[b](D)

The people of Israel will never again defile(B) my holy name—neither they nor their kings—by their prostitution and the funeral offerings[a] for their kings at their death.[b](C)
