^2 (A)A third part you shall burn in the fire ^(B)in the midst of the city, ^(C)when the days of the siege are completed. And a third part you shall take and strike with the sword all round the city. ^(D)And a third part you shall scatter to the wind, and ^(E)I will unsheathe the sword after them.

¹¹ Thus says the Lord God: ^(A)“Clap your hands ^(B)and stamp your foot and say, Alas, because of all the evil abominations of the house of Israel, ^(C)for they shall fall by the sword, by famine, and by pestilence. ^12 (D)He who is far off shall die of pestilence, and he who is near shall fall by the sword, and he who is left and is preserved shall die of famine. ^(E)Thus I will spend my fury upon them.
