6 An end is coming; the end has come! It has (A)awakened against you; behold, it has come! 7 Your doom has come to you, O inhabitant of the land. The (B)time has come, the (C)day is near—tumult rather than joyful shouting on the mountains. 8 Now I will shortly (D)pour out My wrath on you and spend My anger against you; (E)judge you according to your ways and bring on you all your abominations.

7 Doom has come upon you,
upon you who dwell in the land.
The time has come! The day(B) is near!(C)
There is panic, not joy, on the mountains.
8 I am about to pour out my wrath(D) on you
and spend my anger against you.
I will judge you according to your conduct
and repay you for all your detestable practices.(E)
