²⁷ “Son of man, notice that the house of Israel is saying, ‘The vision that he sees concerns many years from now;^(A) he prophesies about distant times.’

⁴ “But you, Daniel, keep these words secret^(A) and seal the book^(B) until the time of the end.^(C) Many will roam about,^(D) and knowledge will increase.”^[a]

⁹ He said, “Go on your way, Daniel, for the words are secret^(A) and sealed until the time of the end.^(B)

⁴ And when the seven thunders spoke, I was about to write. Then I heard a voice from heaven, saying, “Seal up what the seven thunders said,^(A) and do not write it down!”

¹⁰ He also said to me, “Don’t seal the prophetic words of this book, because the time is near.^(A)
