³² For I take no pleasure in anyone’s death.” This is the declaration of the Lord God. “So repent and live!

¹⁷ For God did not send His Son into the world that He might condemn^(A) the world, but that the world might be saved through Him.

¹⁰ In fact, we labor and strive^[a] for this, because we have put our hope in the living God,^(A) who is the Savior^(B) of everyone,^(C) especially of those who believe.

⁹ The Lord does not delay His promise,^(A) as some understand delay, but is patient with you, not wanting any^(B) to perish^(C) but all to come to repentance.^(D)
