⁵ and say to them, ‘Thus says Lord Yahweh, “On the day when I ^(A)chose Israel and ^[a]swore to the seed of the house of Jacob and made Myself known to them in the land of Egypt, when I swore to them, saying, ^(B)I am Yahweh your God,

⁵ Then the angel, whom I saw standing on the sea and on the earth, ^(A)lifted up his right hand to heaven, ^6 (B)and swore by ^(C)Him who lives forever and ever, ^(D)who created heaven and the things in it, and the earth and the things in it, and the sea and the things in it, that ^(E)there will be delay no longer,
