³ and say to the land of Israel, Thus says the Lord: ^(A)Behold, I am against you and will draw ^(B)my sword from its sheath and ^(C)will cut off from you both righteous and wicked. ⁴ Because I will cut off from you both righteous and wicked, therefore my sword shall be drawn from its sheath against all flesh from south to north.

^9 (A)“Son of man, prophesy and say, Thus says the Lord, say:

²⁵ And ^(A)I will bring a sword upon you, that shall execute vengeance for the covenant. And if you gather within your cities, ^(B)I will send pestilence among you, and you shall be delivered into the hand of the enemy.
