^18 (A)“Son of man, the house of Israel has become ^(B)dross to me; all of them are ^(C)bronze and tin and iron and lead in the furnace; they are ^(D)dross of silver.

²⁰ Now in ^(A)a great house there are not only vessels of gold and silver but also of wood and clay, ^(B)some for honourable use, some for dishonourable. ²¹ Therefore, ^(C)if anyone cleanses himself from what is dishonourable,^[a] he will be a vessel for honourable use, set apart as holy, useful to the master of the house, ^(D)ready for every good work.
