Ezekiel 40:3-5
New International Version
3 He took me there, and I saw a man whose appearance was like bronze;(A) he was standing in the gateway with a linen cord and a measuring rod(B) in his hand. 4 The man said to me, “Son of man, look carefully and listen closely and pay attention to everything I am going to show you,(C) for that is why you have been brought here. Tell(D) the people of Israel everything you see.(E)”

5 I saw a wall completely surrounding the temple area. The length of the measuring rod in the man’s hand was six long cubits,[a] each of which was a cubit and a handbreadth. He measured(F) the wall; it was one measuring rod thick and one rod high.

Zechariah 2:5-9

5 And I myself will be a wall(A) of fire(B) around it,’ declares the Lord, ‘and I will be its glory(C) within.’(D)
6 “Come! Come! Flee from the land of the north,” declares the Lord, “for I have scattered(E) you to the four winds of heaven,”(F) declares the Lord.(G)
7 “Come, Zion! Escape,(H) you who live in Daughter Babylon!”(I) 8 For this is what the Lord Almighty says: “After the Glorious One has sent me against the nations that have plundered you—for whoever touches you touches the apple of his eye(J)— 9 I will surely raise my hand against them so that their slaves will plunder them.[a](K) Then you will know that the Lord Almighty has sent me.(L)
