⁸ “Therefore this is what the Sovereign Lord says: I myself am against you, Jerusalem, and I will inflict punishment on you in the sight of the nations.^(A)

³ and say to her: ‘This is what the Lord says: I am against you.^(A) I will draw my sword^(B) from its sheath and cut off from you both the righteous and the wicked.^(C)

³ therefore this is what the Sovereign Lord says: I am against you, Tyre, and I will bring many nations against you, like the sea^(A) casting up its waves.

²² Therefore this is what the Sovereign Lord says: I am against Pharaoh king of Egypt.^(A) I will break both his arms, the good arm as well as the broken one, and make the sword fall from his hand.^(B)

¹⁰ This is what the Sovereign Lord says: I am against^(A) the shepherds and will hold them accountable for my flock. I will remove them from tending the flock so that the shepherds can no longer feed themselves. I will rescue^(B) my flock from their mouths, and it will no longer be food for them.^(C)

³ and say: ‘This is what the Sovereign Lord says: I am against you, Mount Seir, and I will stretch out my hand^(A) against you and make you a desolate waste.^(B)

³ and say: ‘This is what the Sovereign Lord says: I am against you, Gog, chief prince of^[a] Meshek and Tubal.^(A)
