²⁴ I will bring ^(A)the worst of the nations to take possession of their houses. ^(B)I will put an end to the pride of the strong, ^(C)and their holy places^[a] shall be profaned.

⁴⁶ For thus says the Lord God: ^(A)“Bring up a vast host against them, and make them ^(B)an object of terror and ^(C)a plunder.
