9 And Jeshua with his sons and his kin, and Kadmiel and his sons, Binnui and Hodaviah,[a] along with the sons of Henadad, the Levites, their sons and kin, together took charge of the workers in the house of God.(A)
10 When the builders laid the foundation of the temple of the Lord, the priests in their vestments were stationed to praise the Lord with trumpets, and the Levites, the sons of Asaph, with cymbals, according to the directions of King David of Israel;(B) 11 and they sang responsively, praising and giving thanks to the Lord,
“For he is good,
for his steadfast love endures forever toward Israel.”
And all the people responded with a great shout when they praised the Lord because the foundation of the house of the Lord had been laid.(C)

9 Joshua(A) and his sons and brothers and Kadmiel and his sons (descendants of Hodaviah[a]) and the sons of Henadad and their sons and brothers—all Levites—joined together in supervising those working on the house of God.
10 When the builders laid(B) the foundation of the temple of the Lord, the priests in their vestments and with trumpets,(C) and the Levites (the sons of Asaph) with cymbals, took their places to praise(D) the Lord, as prescribed by David(E) king of Israel.(F) 11 With praise and thanksgiving they sang to the Lord:
“He is good;
his love toward Israel endures forever.”(G)
And all the people gave a great shout(H) of praise to the Lord, because the foundation(I) of the house of the Lord was laid.
