10 For Ezra had set his heart to [a]study the law of Yahweh and to practice it, and (A)to teach His statute and judgment in Israel.
The King’s Decree on Behalf of Ezra
11 Now this is the copy of the letter which King Artaxerxes gave to Ezra the priest, the scribe, [b]learned in the words of the commandments of Yahweh and His statutes to Israel:
12 “[c]Artaxerxes, (B)king of kings, to Ezra the priest, the scribe of the law of the God of heaven, perfect peace. And now—

10 For Ezra had devoted himself to the study and observance of the Law of the Lord, and to teaching(A) its decrees and laws in Israel.
King Artaxerxes’ Letter to Ezra
11 This is a copy of the letter King Artaxerxes had given to Ezra the priest, a teacher of the Law, a man learned in matters concerning the commands and decrees of the Lord for Israel:
12 Artaxerxes, king of kings,(B)
To Ezra the priest, teacher of the Law of the God of heaven:
