Ezra 7:21-23

21 “I, even I, King Artaxerxes, issue a decree to all the treasurers who are in the provinces beyond the [a]River, that whatever Ezra the priest, (A)the scribe of the law of the God of heaven, may require of you, it shall be done diligently, 22 even up to 100 talents of silver, 100 [b]kors of wheat, 100 baths of wine, 100 baths of oil, and salt [c]as needed. 23 Whatever is [d]commanded by the God of heaven, let it be done with zeal for the house of the God of heaven, (B)so that there will not be wrath against the kingdom of the king and his sons.

21 Now I, King Artaxerxes, decree that all the treasurers of Trans-Euphrates are to provide with diligence whatever Ezra the priest, the teacher of the Law of the God of heaven, may ask of you— 22 up to a hundred talents[a] of silver, a hundred cors[b] of wheat, a hundred baths[c] of wine, a hundred baths[d] of olive oil, and salt without limit. 23 Whatever the God of heaven has prescribed, let it be done with diligence for the temple of the God of heaven. Why should his wrath fall on the realm of the king and of his sons?(A)
