⁴ Then ^(A)everyone who trembled at the words of the God of Israel on account of the unfaithfulness of the exiles gathered to me, and I sat appalled until ^(B)the evening offering.

⁵ But at the evening offering I arose from my ^[a]humiliation, even with my garment and my robe torn, and I fell on my knees and ^(C)stretched out my ^[b]hands to the Lord my God;

⁴ When I heard these words, ^(A)I sat down and wept and mourned for days; and I was fasting and praying before ^(B)the God of heaven.
