Ezra 9:8-10

8 But now, for a brief moment, grace has come from the Lord our God to preserve a remnant(A) for us and give us a stake(B) in his holy place. Even in our slavery, God has given us a little relief and light to our eyes.(C) 9 Though we are slaves,(D) our God has not abandoned us in our slavery. He has extended grace to us in the presence of the Persian kings,(E) giving us relief, so that we can rebuild the house of our God and repair its ruins,(F) to give us a wall in Judah and Jerusalem.
10 Now, our God, what can we say in light of[a] this? For we have abandoned the commands

8 “But now, for a brief moment, the Lord our God has been gracious(A) in leaving us a remnant(B) and giving us a firm place[a](C) in his sanctuary, and so our God gives light to our eyes(D) and a little relief in our bondage. 9 Though we are slaves,(E) our God has not forsaken us in our bondage. He has shown us kindness(F) in the sight of the kings of Persia: He has granted us new life to rebuild the house of our God and repair its ruins,(G) and he has given us a wall of protection in Judah and Jerusalem.
10 “But now, our God, what can we say after this? For we have forsaken the commands(H)
