⁸ But now for a brief moment grace has been shown from the Lord our God, ^(A)to leave us an escaped remnant and to give us a ^[a](B)peg in His holy place, so that our God may ^(C)enlighten our eyes and grant us a little reviving in our bondage.

¹⁰ “And I will ^(A)pour out on the house of David and on the inhabitants of Jerusalem ^[a]the Spirit of grace and of pleading, so that they will look at Me whom they ^(B)pierced; and they will mourn for Him, like one ^(C)mourning for an only son, and they will weep bitterly over Him like the bitter weeping over a firstborn.
