Even We Jews Are Declared Righteous By Faith In Christ, Not By Works of The Law

15 We[a] are Jews by nature, and not sinners from the Gentiles. 16 But knowing that a person[b] is not declared-righteous by works of the Law except[c] through faith in Jesus Christ, even we believed in Christ Jesus, in order that we might be declared-righteous by faith in Christ and not by works of the Law, because by works of the Law no flesh will be declared-righteous.

And We Died To The Law As a Rule of Life, And Now Live By Faith In The Son of God

17 But if [d] while seeking to be declared-righteous in Christ, we also ourselves were found to be sinners[e], is then Christ a minister of sin[f]? May it never be! 18 For if I am building again these[g] things which I tore-down[h], I am demonstrating[i] myself to be a transgressor. 19 For through the Law I died to the Law in order that I might live to God. I have been crucified-with Christ! 20 And I no longer am living, but Christ is living in me. And what I am now[j] living in the flesh[k], I am living by[l] faith in the Son of God— the One having loved me and handed Himself over for me. 21 I am not setting-aside[m] the grace of God! For if righteousness comes through the Law, then Christ died without-a-reason!

15 “We who are Jews by birth(A) and not sinful Gentiles(B) 16 know that a person is not justified by the works of the law,(C) but by faith in Jesus Christ.(D) So we, too, have put our faith in Christ Jesus that we may be justified by faith in[a] Christ and not by the works of the law, because by the works of the law no one will be justified.(E)

17 “But if, in seeking to be justified in Christ, we Jews find ourselves also among the sinners,(F) doesn’t that mean that Christ promotes sin? Absolutely not!(G) 18 If I rebuild what I destroyed, then I really would be a lawbreaker.
