Paul Shows How Cephas Was Wrong
11 When Cephas came to Antioch, I had to openly oppose him because he was completely wrong. 12 He ate with people who were not Jewish until some men James had sent from Jerusalem arrived. Then Cephas drew back and would not associate with people who were not Jewish. He was afraid of those who insisted that circumcision was necessary.

10 All they asked was that we should continue to remember the poor,(A) the very thing I had been eager to do all along.
Paul Opposes Cephas
11 When Cephas(B) came to Antioch,(C) I opposed him to his face, because he stood condemned. 12 For before certain men came from James,(D) he used to eat with the Gentiles.(E) But when they arrived, he began to draw back and separate himself from the Gentiles because he was afraid of those who belonged to the circumcision group.(F)
