Galatians 2:2-4
Evangelical Heritage Version
2 I went up in keeping with a revelation, and I laid before them the gospel that I preach among the Gentiles. But I did this privately before those who were considered important, in order to make sure that I was not running—or had not run—in vain. 3 But Titus, who was with me, was not compelled to be circumcised, even though he is Greek. 4 This was an issue because of the false brothers, who slipped in under false pretenses to spy on the freedom we have in Christ Jesus. Their goal was to make us slaves.

Galatians 2:2-4
New International Version
2 I went in response to a revelation(A) and, meeting privately with those esteemed as leaders, I presented to them the gospel that I preach among the Gentiles.(B) I wanted to be sure I was not running and had not been running my race(C) in vain. 3 Yet not even Titus,(D) who was with me, was compelled to be circumcised, even though he was a Greek.(E) 4 This matter arose because some false believers(F) had infiltrated our ranks to spy on(G) the freedom(H) we have in Christ Jesus and to make us slaves.
