Galatians 3:10-12

¹⁰But those who depend on following the law to make them right are under a curse because the Scriptures say, “Anyone will be cursed who does not always obey what is written in the Book of the Law!”^[a] ¹¹So it is clear that no one can be made right with God by the law. The Scriptures say, “He who is right with God by faith will live.”^[b] ¹²The law does not use faith. It says, “A person who does these things will live forever because of them.”^[c]

¹⁰For all who rely on the works of the law^(A) are under a curse,^(B) as it is written: “Cursed is everyone who does not continue to do everything written in the Book of the Law.”^[a]^(C) ¹¹Clearly no one who relies on the law is justified before God,^(D) because “the righteous will live by faith.”^[b]^(E) ¹²The law is not based on faith; on the contrary, it says, “The person who does these things will live by them.”^[c]^(F)
