Galatians 3:4-6
American Standard Version
4 Did ye suffer so many things in vain? if it be indeed in vain. 5 He therefore that supplieth to you the Spirit, and worketh [a]miracles [b]among you, doeth he it by the works of the law, or by the [c]hearing of faith? 6 Even as Abraham [d]believed God, and it was reckoned unto him for righteousness.

Galatians 3:4-6
New International Version
4 Have you experienced[a] so much in vain—if it really was in vain? 5 So again I ask, does God give you his Spirit and work miracles(A) among you by the works of the law, or by your believing what you heard?(B) 6 So also Abraham “believed God, and it was credited to him as righteousness.”[b](C)
