Galatians 3:4-6

Good News Translation

⁴Did all your experience mean nothing at all? Surely it meant something! ⁵Does God give you the Spirit and work miracles among you because you do what the Law requires or because you hear the gospel and believe it?

⁶^(A)Consider the experience of Abraham; as the scripture says, “He believed God, and because of his faith God accepted him as righteous.”

⁴Have you experienced^[a] so much in vain—if it really was in vain? ⁵So again I ask, does God give you his Spirit and work miracles^(A) among you by the works of the law, or by your believing what you heard?^(B) ⁶So also Abraham “believed God, and it was credited to him as righteousness.”^[b]^(C)
