7 [a]Know therefore that they that are of faith, the same are sons of Abraham. 8 And the scripture, foreseeing that God [b]would justify the [c]Gentiles by faith, preached the gospel beforehand unto Abraham, saying, [d]In thee shall all the nations be blessed. 9 So then they that are of faith are blessed with the faithful Abraham.

7 Understand, then, that those who have faith(A) are children of Abraham.(B) 8 Scripture foresaw that God would justify the Gentiles by faith, and announced the gospel in advance to Abraham: “All nations will be blessed through you.”[a](C) 9 So those who rely on faith(D) are blessed along with Abraham, the man of faith.(E)
