¹⁵ But if you ^(A)bite and devour one another, take care that you are not consumed by one another.

¹⁶ But I say, ^(B)walk by the Spirit, and you will not carry out ^(C)the desire of the flesh. ¹⁷ For ^(D)the desire of the flesh is against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh; for these are in opposition to one another, ^(E)in order to keep you from doing whatever you want. ¹⁸ But if you are ^(F)led by the Spirit, ^(G)you are not under the Law. ¹⁹ Now the deeds of the flesh are evident, which are: ^(H)sexual immorality, impurity, indecent behavior, ²⁰ idolatry, ^(I)witchcraft, hostilities, ^(J)strife, jealousy, outbursts of anger, ^(K)selfish ambition, dissensions, ^(L)factions, ²¹ envy, ^(M)drunkenness, carousing, and things like these, of which I forewarn you, just as I have forewarned you, that those who practice such things will not ^(N)inherit the kingdom of God. ²² But ^(O)the fruit of the Spirit is ^(P)love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, ²³ gentleness, ^(Q)self-control; against such things ^(R)there is no law. ²⁴ Now those who ^[a]belong to ^(S)Christ Jesus ^(T)crucified the flesh with its passions and ^(U)desires.

²⁵ If we live by the Spirit, let’s follow ^(V)the Spirit as well. ²⁶ Let’s not become ^(W)boastful, challenging one another, envying one another.
