15 But if you (A)bite and devour one another, take care that you are not consumed by one another.

16 But I say, (B)walk by the Spirit, and you will not carry out (C)the desire of the flesh. 17 For (D)the desire of the flesh is against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh; for these are in opposition to one another, (E)in order to keep you from doing whatever you want. 18 But if you are (F)led by the Spirit, (G)you are not under the Law. 19 Now the deeds of the flesh are evident, which are: (H)sexual immorality, impurity, indecent behavior, 20 idolatry, (I)witchcraft, hostilities, (J)strife, jealousy, outbursts of anger, (K)selfish ambition, dissensions, (L)factions, 21 envy, (M)drunkenness, carousing, and things like these, of which I forewarn you, just as I have forewarned you, that those who practice such things will not (N)inherit the kingdom of God. 22 But (O)the fruit of the Spirit is (P)love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, 23 gentleness, (Q)self-control; against such things (R)there is no law. 24 Now those who [a]belong to (S)Christ Jesus (T)crucified the flesh with its passions and (U)desires.

25 If we live by the Spirit, let’s follow (V)the Spirit as well. 26 Let’s not become (W)boastful, challenging one another, envying one another.

  1. Galatians 5:17 Or you do not do what

15 But if ye bite and devour one another, take heed that ye be not consumed one of another.

16 This I say then, Walk in the Spirit, and ye shall not fulfil the lust of the flesh.

17 For the flesh lusteth against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh: and these are contrary the one to the other: so that ye cannot do the things that ye would.

18 But if ye be led of the Spirit, ye are not under the law.

19 Now the works of the flesh are manifest, which are these; Adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lasciviousness,

20 Idolatry, witchcraft, hatred, variance, emulations, wrath, strife, seditions, heresies,

21 Envyings, murders, drunkenness, revellings, and such like: of the which I tell you before, as I have also told you in time past, that they which do such things shall not inherit the kingdom of God.

22 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith,

23 Meekness, temperance: against such there is no law.

24 And they that are Christ's have crucified the flesh with the affections and lusts.

25 If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit.

26 Let us not be desirous of vain glory, provoking one another, envying one another.
