4 Ye are [a]severed from Christ, ye who would be justified by the law; ye are fallen away from grace. 5 For we through the Spirit by faith wait for the hope of righteousness. 6 For in Christ Jesus neither circumcision availeth anything, nor uncircumcision; but faith [b]working through love.

4 You who are trying to be justified by the law(A) have been alienated from Christ; you have fallen away from grace.(B) 5 For through the Spirit we eagerly await by faith the righteousness for which we hope.(C) 6 For in Christ Jesus(D) neither circumcision nor uncircumcision has any value.(E) The only thing that counts is faith expressing itself through love.(F)
