2 (A)The descendants of Japheth: Gomer,[a] Magog, Madai, Javan, Tubal, Meshech and Tiras.(B) 3 The descendants of Gomer: Ashkenaz,[b] Diphath and Togarmah. 4 The descendants of Javan: Elishah,[c] Tarshish, the Kittim and the Rodanim. 5 From these branched out the maritime nations.
These are the descendants of Japheth by their lands, each with its own language, according to their clans, by their nations.

Elishah,(I) Tarshish,(J) the Kittites(K) and the Rodanites.[b] 5 (From these the maritime peoples spread out into their territories by their clans within their nations, each with its own language.)(L)
