16 So God made the two [a]great lights, the (A)greater [b]light [c]to rule the day, and the lesser [d]light [e]to rule the night, and also (B)the stars. 17 (C)And God placed them in the [f]expanse of the heavens to give light on the earth, 18 and [g]to (D)rule the day and the night, and to separate the light from the darkness; and God saw that it was good.
