16 God made the two [a]great lights, the (A)greater [b]light [c]to govern the day, and the lesser [d]light [e]to govern the night; He made (B)the stars also. 17 (C)God placed them in the [f]expanse of the heavens to give light on the earth, 18 and [g]to (D)govern the day and the night, and to separate the light from the darkness; and God saw that it was good.
