Common English Bible
27 God created humanity in God’s own image,
in the divine image God created them,[a]
male and female God created them.
28 God blessed them and said to them, “Be fertile and multiply; fill the earth and master it. Take charge of the fish of the sea, the birds in the sky, and everything crawling on the ground.” 29 Then God said, “I now give to you all the plants on the earth that yield seeds and all the trees whose fruit produces its seeds within it. These will be your food.

27 So God created(A) mankind(B) in his own image,(C)
in the image of God(D) he created them;
male and female(E) he created them.(F)
28 God blessed them and said to them,(G) “Be fruitful and increase in number;(H) fill the earth(I) and subdue it. Rule over(J) the fish in the sea and the birds in the sky and over every living creature that moves on the ground.(K)”
29 Then God said, “I give you every seed-bearing plant on the face of the whole earth and every tree that has fruit with seed in it. They will be yours for food.(L)
