30 And their dwelling place extended from[a] Mesha in the direction of[b] Sephar to the hill country of the east. 31 These are the sons of Shem, according to their families, according to their languages, in their lands, and according to their nations.
32 These are the families of the sons of Noah, according to their generations[c] and in their nations. And from these the nations spread abroad on the earth after the flood.

31 These are the sons of Shem by their clans and languages, in their territories and nations.
32 These are the clans of Noah’s sons,(A) according to their lines of descent, within their nations. From these the nations spread out over the earth(B) after the flood.
