Genesis 11:7-9
New Living Translation
7 Come, let’s go down and confuse the people with different languages. Then they won’t be able to understand each other.”
8 In that way, the Lord scattered them all over the world, and they stopped building the city. 9 That is why the city was called Babel,[a] because that is where the Lord confused the people with different languages. In this way he scattered them all over the world.

7 Come, let us(A) go down(B) and confuse their language so they will not understand each other.”(C)
8 So the Lord scattered them from there over all the earth,(D) and they stopped building the city. 9 That is why it was called Babel[a](E)—because there the Lord confused the language(F) of the whole world.(G) From there the Lord scattered(H) them over the face of the whole earth.
