15 When the palace aides saw her, they praised her to their king, the Pharaoh, and she was taken into his harem.[a] 16 Then Pharaoh gave Abram many gifts because of her—sheep, oxen, donkeys, men and women slaves, and camels.
17 But the Lord sent a terrible plague upon Pharaoh’s household on account of her being there.

New International Version
15 And when Pharaoh’s officials saw her, they praised her to Pharaoh, and she was taken into his palace. 16 He treated Abram well for her sake, and Abram acquired sheep and cattle, male and female donkeys, male and female servants, and camels.(A)
17 But the Lord inflicted(B) serious diseases on Pharaoh and his household(C) because of Abram’s wife Sarai.
