⁵ Abram took Sarai his wife and Lot his nephew, and all their ^(A)possessions which they had accumulated, and ^(B)the ^[a]persons which they had acquired in Haran, and they ^[b]set out for the land of Canaan; ^(C)thus they came to the land of Canaan.

³ And Abram said, “^[a]Since You have given no ^[b]offspring to me, ^[c]one ^(A)born in my house is my heir.”

²⁷ All the men of his household, who were ^(A)born in the house or bought with money from a foreigner, were circumcised with him.

⁷ I bought male and female slaves and I had ^[a](A)homeborn slaves. Also I possessed flocks and ^(B)herds larger than all who preceded me in Jerusalem.
