¹⁷ Arise, ^(A)walk about in the land through its length and width; for ^(B)I will give it to you.”

⁷ And He said to him, “I am the Lord who brought you out of ^(A)Ur of the Chaldeans, to ^(B)give you this land to ^[a]possess it.”

⁸ And ^(A)I will give to you and to your ^[a]descendants after you the land where you live as a stranger, all the land of Canaan, as an everlasting possession; and ^(B)I will be their God.”

⁷ Did You not, our God, drive out the inhabitants of this land from Your people Israel, and ^(A)give it to the descendants of ^(B)Your friend Abraham forever?
